LifeSled Inflatable PWC Rescue Sleds are a great option for seasonal or flat water users where high surf is not engaged. Inflatables are extremely durable but are certainly not the choice in heavy surf or swift water situations. The stability and durability of the composite-constructed LS-1 or LS-2 is what is indicated for high surf and extreme swift water situations. Inflatables, on the other hand deflate to a mere few cubic feet for travel and/or easily stored for winter, if necessary. They are lightweight (<30 lbs) and can easily be managed by one operator.
