The RIVA MaptunerX Mount Base Kit requires that the MaptunerX unit be installed in the RIVA MaptunerX Water & Impact Resistant Case. While the MaptunerX may be mounted anywhere the user finds convenient, RIVA suggests mounting it to the top of the glove box. This allows easy viewing and operation of the MaptunerX and allows the data/power cable to be routed through the seat opening.
