Practice on ski once or twice a week and go to the gym

I am most proud of a race I was in where I fell on the first lap and lost my ski about 100ft away. Once I got to the ski everyone was more than a half a lap away but I didn't give up and rode the course like I was a pro at the time and came from dead last to winning 2nd place and taking a 1st place overall.
